To Our House is a non-profit organization that houses and feeds from 10-12 homeless men in the New River Valley during the winter months. TOH consists of concerned citizens, organizations, and churches who share their resources with these men. Were you aware there is no other place that homeless men can go in our area to receive this help? Roanoke and Wytheville are the nearest full-time shelters.
Fieldstone will begin hosting To Our House on Saturday, February 2. Northstar will be serving as the support church.
Lots of help is needed! The following are ways you can help:

Northstar is providing breakfast foods and packing lunches for 10-12 men each day for two weeks. There will be a table set up in the lobby each Sunday with needed items. Please pick up an index card or two and return the items at the following church service or to the Lancaster House.

We are responsible for preparing and serving dinners (which should include a meat, starch, veggie, bread, and dessert) to the men and volunteers February 9-15.

Each night, two people over the age of 18 are needed to stay from 9 pm to 7 am.

Two additional people are needed for activities after the meal (these can be volunteers from dinner) from 7 until 9 pm. The men enjoy playing cards, watching movies, and playing games.
