As summer quickly approaches we are excited to send another Northstar Spain missions team this June! Over the past few years Northstar has sent teams to support local missionaries in their ministry to the Basque people in Northern Spain. The Basque are one of the most least reached people groups in Western Europe and our church has committed to partnering with missionaries in the area to see the Gospel grow amongst these people. This team will spend time helping local missionaries run kids camps to assist them in building relationships in the city. Other activities would include teaching English, meeting with conversation partners, and more! Our past teams have helped the local missionaries greatly by giving them a greater platform in their community for the Gospel.
This summer’s Spain Team is unique in that there are two options for dates. There will be a one week for the trip. The week will be from June 21 – 28.
There are multiple ways that you can be involved:
1. Start praying for the Spain summer team. Pray for the finances to come in, for the right number of people to go, and for the hearts of the Basque people to be attentive to the Gospel.
2. Give. You can give towards the Spain Trip by writing a check made out to Northstar Church with “Spain 2014” in the memo. You can also give online through our church giving site.
3. Come with us! One of the missionary couples will be holding an interest meeting on April 6 at the Lancaster House at 1:00pm. If you have any interest in being a member of the Spain team, please join us and RSVP by emailing Adam Wilson
