Northstar is seeking a social media and communications intern for this summer in Blacksburg. This ministry position description is summarized as follows:
- Flexible hours, minimum of 10 a week
- Brainstorming new ideas for social media platforms and maintaining current social media strategy
- Scheduling posts on Twitter and Facebook
- Designing and organizing email newsletter in MailChimp
- Attending staff meeting once a week (Wednesday, (9:00 a.m.)
- Monitoring Analytics in SumAll (or any analytics platform of your choosing)
- Writing news articles for the church website
- Assisting with development of excellent communication guidelines for the church
- Working with fun and dynamic staff
