On Sunday, June 21st we learned about the biblical concept of Fellowship. The following Wednesday we got to practice what we preach (bad pun definitely intended) with a continuation of our #BigSmallGroup gatherings.
During this time we played a silly mixer game–and enjoyed laughing together, reviewed the previous sermon, and then broke off into small groups to share a meal and bible-based discussion. We also heard an encouraging and powerful faith story from one of our members, Todd Torbertt. By sharing his testimony, Todd gave us a look at his walk with Jesus, specifically themed around how we can always trust that God works for the good in our lives, this is a promise made to us in Romans 8:28:
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who have been called according to his purpose.”
In all things. Not just sometimes, not occasionally, and not most of the time–in all things.
