As we roll around the new year, ReVerb Youth Group is just about one and a half years old. 2015 felt like a very fruitful year as we strived to become a healthy youth group with a cohesive heartbeat. We went through many different studies in 2015 which were almost all focused on building foundation for our faith.
We examined the fundamentals of being a Christian, studied the book of Matthew, participated in the Immeasurably More Campaign, learned the six steps of the Gospel, and much more. As we are moving forward, we want 2016 to be focused on our outreach in the community of the NRV.
There are a couple different ways that we want to accomplish these things, but one way that got the students involved was on January 10, we had a time of group discussion about what they wanted to learn and what they wanted to do as a group. Our small groups are ready to be pushed and molded into Jesus-proclaiming groups while still being encouraged, sharpened, and equipped for life. 2016 has plenty of potential and we are excited to see what God allows our group to accomplish.
