Saturday Seminary: Soteriology on April 30

April 14, 2016

saturdayseminary-soteriologySoteriology. The study of our salvation in Christ alone.  A big word but an entirely joyful study.

What does it really mean to be saved? How does one experience “salvation?” What did God did through Jesus to make it possible? Are you saved once, for all time, or are multiple instances required? What do words like justification, sanctification and glorification mean, and why are they relevant to being saved?

Come to our last Saturday Seminary of the spring and hear Drew Paulette teach on soteriology. Invite a friend, and register below at either the Facebook or Eventbrite links. Also, share the opportunity with friends.

Drew Paulette is a Blacksburg local and graduated from Radford University in 2008. He has been married to his wife Leah for eight years, and they just celebrated the birth of their first child, Sedona Elise. Drew works for Blacksburg Christian Fellowship the last few years. He has also served with Cru in North Africa in 2015 and 2016. Drew is currently working on a masters of divinity degree through Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.

This is our last Saturday Seminary of the spring. It’s been a privilege to partner with Cru at Virginia Tech to offer Saturday Seminary events this spring.

Details:

“Saturday Seminary” events are meant to equip and encourage you. Each two-hour session looks at a different topic that will help you understand the Christian faith, your relationship with God and how to live in joyful confidence as a follower of Jesus.
