Salvation:
He answered, “’Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’” (Luke 10:27)
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9)
Therefore I endure everything for the sake of the elect, that they too may obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus, with eternal glory. (2 Timothy 2:10)
Obedience:
The Lord will make you the head and not the tail; you will only move upward and never downward if you listen to the Lord your God’s commands I am giving you today and are careful to follow them. (Deuteronomy 28:13)
Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path. (Psalm 119:105)
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6)
Beauty/Self confidence:
Rather it (your beauty) should be of your inner self, the unfailing beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight. (1 Peter 3:4)
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. (Psalm 139:14)
For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. (Ephesians 2:10)
Faith/Trust in God:
For we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28)
Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.” (Isaiah 30:21)
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. (Jeremiah 29:11-13)
Contentment:
Better a day in Your courts than a thousand anywhere else. I would rather be at the door of the house of my God than to live in the tents of wicked people. (Psalm 84:10)
A tranquil heart is life to the body, but jealousy is rottenness to the bones. (Proverbs 14:30)
“I am the bread of life,” Jesus told them. “No one who comes to Me will ever be hungry, and no one who believes in Me will ever be thirsty again.” ( John 6:35)
Temptation/Purity/Discernment:
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – his good, pleasing, and perfect will. (Romans 12:2)
We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ, being ready to punish every disobedience, when your obedience is complete. (2 Corinthians 10:5-6)
Do not be conquered by evil, but conquer evil with good. (Romans 12:21)
Courage:
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. (Deuteronomy 31:6)
Wait for the Lord; be strong and courageous. Wait for the Lord. (Psalm 27:14)
Growth:
And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man. (Luke 2:52)
But grow in the grace and knowledge of our lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. (2 Peter 3:18)
