He answered, “’Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’” (Luke 10:27)

Obedience:

Beauty/Self confidence:

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. (Psalm 139:14)

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. (Ephesians 2:10)

Faith/Trust in God:

For we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28)

Contentment:

Temptation/Purity/Discernment:

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – his good, pleasing, and perfect will. (Romans 12:2)

We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ, being ready to punish every disobedience, when your obedience is complete. (2 Corinthians 10:5-6)

Do not be conquered by evil, but conquer evil with good. (Romans 12:21)

Courage:

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. (Deuteronomy 31:6)

Wait for the Lord; be strong and courageous. Wait for the Lord. (Psalm 27:14)

Growth:

And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man. (Luke 2:52)

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. (2 Peter 3:18)
