Northstar’s own Steve Bodtke (2nd from the left on the back row) served recently on his first disaster relief experience in Conway, South Carolina.
Hurricane Matthew wreaked havoc from the Caribbean all the way to Coastal Carolina. There was a lot of death and destruction, and many Christians were able to respond with help and the message of the good news of Jesus. Fortunately, Steve had recently completed disaster relief training, which qualified him to be able to work in areas that have been declared as emergency by the federal government.
You will be hearing a lot more about Disaster Relief Team at Northstar in the coming months. In the meantime if you interested, let me know or talk to Steve about his experience.
