Have you heard of #BlacksburgRocks? It’s a fun community activity that’s been happening all summer and Northstar Kids are going to take part in the action! The idea is for kids (or anyone!) to paint and decorate rocks and then hide them around the NRV for others to find. When someone finds a decorated rock they are encouraged to take a picture of it, post it on Facebook with the tag #BlacksburgRocks, keep it or hide it again and then repeat!
On Sunday, September 10, our Blossoms and Jumpstart kids will decorate rocks with scripture and drawings that make much of Jesus. We will encourage them to take the rocks out in the community on BE ‘N’ GO Sunday, September 17, and hide them. We are excited for even our youngest at Northstar to be a part of this fun Sunday!
