Celebrate Being Made New

January 23, 2018

This New Year, Jeff Noble brought us a new sermon series titled All Things New. Together we discovered, through God’s Word, that all things are new through Jesus. We have been made new for a purpose. We are peacemakers and reconcilers. And our being made new is constant, ongoing. We are new but not now. We are being transformed “little by little” to be like Jesus.

While we heard and reflected on these amazing truths together in “big church,” our children were also learning that all things are new because of Jesus Christ. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, and see, the new has come! (2 Corinthians 5:17 CSB) During worship this month, K-1 Jumpstart kids memorized this amazing truth through song.

I encourage you to listen, dance, and celebrate being made new with your child!
