In addition to being one of our volunteer leaders, Bobby Murray will be interning with us! I knew Bobby from my time as a Young Life leader in college and I am excited that he will be helping out this summer!
Bobby just graduated this past spring with a double major in Public Relations and Religion and is originally from Chantilly, VA. In his free time, he really enjoys playing sports and spending time outside doing “just about anything.”
Bobby has also had some experience in working with teenagers. As a Wyldlife leader at Christiansburg Middle School for 3 1/2 years, Bobby learned what it looked like to grow in relationships with middle schoolers and point them to Jesus.
When I asked him why he specifically wanted to intern with youth this summer, he said: “I wanted to volunteer this summer because I love interacting with kids and especially love being a role model for them in their lives and more importantly their faith. I’m excited to meet all of the kids and build relationships with them through the crazy activities and stories that we will share.”
