Crossroads Camp Day 1

Blog, Youth

This morning, our youth group left the ministry center at 7:30 to head down to Crossroads camp in Anderson, SC for the week! We stopped and ate some Christian chicken, of course, at Chick-fil-A and made great time in getting to our destination. Upon arrival the staff was extremely welcoming and made all of the students and our leaders feel celebrated!

After a healthy dinner of a cheeseburger and pizza (the ladies actually ate salads and their vegetables), we headed to the first session of the week. Clayton King spoke on the passage in Mark 5:24-34 about the woman who had great faith and was healed from her 12 year ailment because of that faith. He spoke to the students about the things in our lives that cause us to have fear instead of faith and spoke about how Jesus is the reason that we can have faith instead of fear. At the end of the evening, he gave a time of invitation and over 130 students decided to give their lives to Christ!!! We had 3 students who decided to make that decision from our group and we had a time afterwards to process what students learned in the first session.

Continue to pray for an amazing week and for Jesus to do some amazing things! The weather is also going to be extremely HOT so pray for good health throughout the week!
