At our worship service Sunday evening June 14, we announced the launching of Jeff’s sabbatical, beginning next week! Jeff has served Northstar since July 2009 – that’s 11 years! We are excited for him to spend the summer in rest and refreshment, and we invite you to be praying for him as he embraces some needed down time.
As we look toward exciting days ahead for our church family – returning to full worship gatherings, launching new small groups, discipleship initiatives, missions and even the completion of our first ministry center (early 2021!), we believe Jeff’s sabbatical will be both a blessing to him and to our church family.
Matt Simpson will be stepping up to lead our Staff Team and help facilitate ministries during his absence. We are thankful for how God has provided our church with an amazing Staff Team, Leadership Board and ministry leaders!
Let’s be praying for all our leaders during this season of sabbatical and strategy ministry!
