Kirk and his wife, Jillian, have been members of Northstar since 2015 when they moved to Blacksburg from Colorado. He currently serves on the Leadership Board at Northstar and plays cello with the worship team. Kirk recently completed his PhD in Geosciences from Virginia Tech, and is a self-proclaimed "geologian." He loves to explore and experience the truth and beauty of God through study of His creation, and to see people engaged in meaningful, Christ-centered relationships.
