Lindsay de Gastyne

Lindsay was born and raised right here in the New River Valley and attended Virginia Tech, where she got involved with a campus ministry and started attending Northstar with some friends. After noticing how hard it was for students to get plugged in to a church after they graduated, if they weren't involved in one during their time at school, Lindsay became a member of Northstar and came on staff as an intern and college ministry assistant during her senior year in 2016.

Lindsay recently finished the internship and graduated from Virginia Tech with a B.S. in Sociology/Social Inequality and a concentration in Technical Writing. She served on staff in the role of Ministry Coordinator, involving the administration of Northstar's volunteer ministry, intern ministry, college ministry, youth ministry, and building campaign. She is passionate about wholeheartedly serving the body of Christ wherever she is, and excited for how this position will provide more opportunities to serve, experience personal growth, and create and continue relationships. Lindsay also enjoys being active outside (when it's warm), blasting country and pop music, correcting grammatical mistakes, consuming copious amounts of sugar, and participating in any kind of friendly competition.
