Hey folks. Just wanted to share with you how excited I am about the Back to School Bash coming up this Sunday, Sept. 2nd.
My hope for this event is that it will truly be “from” Northstar, not “for” Northstar. I want the community to feel some love from us this weekend. For every kid that walks through to feel special. And for every parent to feel grateful that someone cares. I know that a free moon bounce is not exactly the most blatant example of Christ’s love, but my prayer is that He can shine through our efforts and the families that come would see hope. And maybe that leads them to visit a church. Maybe that church is Northstar. And maybe angels will rejoice with us when these little ones come running home!
On top of all that I’m praying we can overwhelm the peeps over at Micah’s Backpack with some donations. They are doing a really cool thing for our community and I’m really excited to partner with them on this.
