“Circle of Security” workshop is presented by Northstar Church on April 18, 2015 from 4-7pm. The workshop will take place at Grace Covenant Church on Shadowlake Drive in Blacksburg, Virginia.
The New River Valley Community is invited to attend the “Circle of Security” workshop lead by Wanda Seagroves, LCSW, from the Ainsworth Attachment Clinic in Charlottesville, Virginia
“In today’s busy, stressed world that we are in it can be tough to know what your kids need emotionally , developmentally and spiritually. Yes, we love our children but do we know how to help them? And how can we help a child who may be injured? The “Circle of Security”, developed by the Ainsworth Attachment Clinic in Charlottesville, Virginia, provides a road map for meeting the needs of children, and even adults! Please plan to attend this evening which will include the showing of the highly acclaimed movie, “The Dark Matter of Love” which is a documentary film of a family in Wisconsin who adopted 3 children from Russia. Child Care is available by reservation. If you would like childcare, please click the ticket options below so that we have enough babysitters to help everyone have fun and be safe. For example if you are planning on coming with 2 children, ages 1 and 4, you would reserve an Adult ticket, a childcare ticket for 0-2 year olds and a childcare ticket for 3-5 year olds.
