IDENTITY. We can all relate with the search to answer the question “What defines me at my core?” While we diligently search to answer this important question, we are often guilty of flashing our Fake ID. We hold out our Fake Identities to others, God and even ourselves, trying to convince that we are someone other than ourselves. We find ourselves showing cropped, edited and glossy versions of ourselves, all the while wondering if our true identity would be accepted.
Fortunately there is a way in which we are fully accepted, loved and can find meaning in our True Identity. Join us for Connect’s four week Fake ID series where we will debunk the different Fake IDs we attempt to put forward, while pointing to the joy of finding the True Identity God has made for us.
The four week series starts August 30, and we will meet at 7:00pm for a large group environment of fun, student stories, teaching, and breakout discussion groups.
