Winter has finally set in around Blacksburg and instead of staying indoors, binging on Netflix, embrace the cold! Connect (Northstar College) will be headed to the mountains of West Virginia for some quality snow time on the slopes of Winterplace. We’ll be spending the evening tubing.This is a wonderful time to invite friends along to join in the fun as well. As a matter of fact, it’s almost mandatory. The event kicks off Friday afternoon at 4 pm when we leave for Winterplace. We’ll tube until 10 when the runs close and then pile back into cars and head home. Embrace the weather and come join us on the tubing slopes! And remember to bring a friend.

– When: Friday February 12 from 4:00 pm- 12:30 am
– Where: Leave from the Northstar Office, 200 Country Club Dr D-1. We will carpool from the office to Winterplace
– Cost: $19 for a tubing pass. Also please talk to your driver about how you can pitch in for gas
