Our annual Covenant Renewal series kicks off this September 16 with guest speaker Jackie Flake. Jackie is the pastor at Community Bible Church in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Our Listen, Lighten, Look series is a series that examines what Northstar Church is truly about. Each week, we’ll look at a different aspect of our relationship with God and the mission He’s given us. If you are in the midst of trying to find a church, we suggest that you check out Northstar during this time to get a great picture of who Northstar is.
The series will culiminate in our Covenant Renewal service celebration on October 7. This annual service is when all of our existing members renew their membership for another year. We do this because we don’t just want to go to church and enjoy a service, but we want to be the church in the world. It gives our congregation (new members and current members) a time to renew their commitment to being on mission to reach the New River Valley and beyond for Christ.
