On October 14, Northstar will celebrate its 1st “Homecoming” service. During the weekend of Virginia Tech’s homecoming, we will have a special day of worship and celebration. We’ve got the BHS football stadium reserved for the event! (Pray for great weather!) We are inviting all former members and attenders of Northstar to join us on that day.
Our founding pastor, Robert Jackson, will be a guest speaker as he shares thoughts about Northstar’s history and early days. There will be testimonies from members, as well as a baptism service! ( If you’re interested in being baptized, please contact the church office today.) We hope you’ll make plans to thank the Lord with us on that Sunday for all that He has done through the people of Northstar in the past nine years.
Immediately following the service, we want to ask you to stay for a fantastic fellowship meal! There will be tables and seating for over 500 people, and we also encourage you to bring picnic blankets, as we hope to have even more stay for the meal!
