Governor Northam has asked Virginians to keep and sort of gathering to 10 people or less. In light of that and other concerns, and in the interest of obeying our leaders and being a good witness, we have decided to cancel the hike scheduled for this Saturday, March 21.
These next couple of weeks are going to be a strange time to navigate as we try to be safe and wise, not just for our own sake’s but for the sake of the people we come into contact with. It is also important as Christians to set a good example of being obedient and good citizens that care about our communities. Because of that, we are going to try to take a step back in activity over the next couple of weeks.
This is sad, but we will reschedule! We can make it through this short period of time and perhaps even have a renewed appreciation for all the things we can easily take for granted.
