Northstar GAP will be volunteering together with VT’s The Big Event this year on Saturday, April 8. The Big Event at Virginia Tech is a service effort every spring where thousands from the Blacksburg community come together to complete nearly one thousand community service projects throughout the New River Valley.
You do not need to be a student, or affiliated with VT at all to participate. Everyone can join! We have a Northstar GAP group already made. You can sign up to volunteer with our group by clicking here.
For students and faculty, you will need your PID and VT ID number. For non-students, when asked for your “PID”, create your own unique username and when it asks for your “ID number”, put your cell phone number.
Please note that volunteer registration ends March 31, 2017. Once signed up, you will receive more information by email closer to the date of the event.
