On the 1st Tuesday of each month all the Graduate and Professionals (GAP) small groups gather together for ‘BIG Group’. This is a chance to catch up with friends and new folks in other groups. But it’s also a chance to fellowship and sometimes even serve together.
We usually have between 30-50 people at BIG Group so we’ve been fortunate to have use of the Fieldstone UMC Building. Fieldstone has been very gracious with outside groups using their building for ministry. In their mind, everything is about God’s Kingdom, not ‘their building’. So for March BIG Group we wanted to serve Fieldstone for a change.
They are currently renovating and had lots of drywall work that needed to get done. So 30 GAP folks showed up for 2 hours on a ‘school night’ to put up drywall. How cool is that? Thanks to everybody who came out! If you have any construction experience or just like to get your hands dirty, Fieldstone regularly has work days so there’s opportunities to get involved.
