Not going to lie, we’ve been going through GAP withdrawal. How do you cure an addiction? Clearly by coming back for more – we’ll be visiting May 18 to May 22 and we’d love to see you all.
After several months, April finally was offered a position at her dream job at Lockheed Martin in Moorestown, NJ. We would tell you more about what she is doing specifically, but… we can’t, because she’s that cool. I DEFEND her right to withhold what she will be doing because I don’t want an EXPLOSIVE situation to develop at work (you see what I did there?).
After obtaining my Masters, I decided that I wanted to do full-time ministry, and because of that, I’m trying to be an intern with NJ Metro (New Jersey’s version of Cru). New Jersey has a tremendous need to reach students and currently, there are only SIX full-time Cru members to try and reach out to approximately 50 colleges with well over 400,000 students. My hope is to try and develop the same culture that surrounds GAP – food, fellowship, growth, outreach, and fun – and to have that just exponentially grow to reach many people.
Cru is a missions organization, which means they have no central funds and the people who work for Cru have to raise their own support. As I take this large step of faith to serve the Lord in ministry, would you prayerfully consider joining me as a partner in ministry by helping to financially support me? Any amount that you are capable of contributing monthly would be an incredible blessing to reaching college students throughout New Jersey. I invite you on this journey to try and bring GAP group to New Jersey. With around 50 GAP people, it won’t take much to make a significant impact.
