“How the World Stole Christmas” presentation

December 11, 2019

Christmas is so much more than our culture makes it. More than setting out Christmas decorations in October. More than Black Friday and Cyber Monday. More than food, travel, and grandma’s house. It’s also more than grief and tears, heartache and loss. Christmas is more.

On Wednesday evening, December 18, Kevin Seaton will be speaking about How the World Stole Christmas: Restoring the Beauty of the First Christmas. It’s a 30-40 minute time of inspiration and information presented in a warm gathering with snacks and available childcare. The intent is to provide a fun, hopeful and engaging opportunity for you to invite a co-worker, classmate, friend, international or neighbor (or all of the above) to attend with you. The presentation will be followed by a time of Q&A, and everyone will be dismissed promptly after an hour.

We encourage you to consider who you could invite and bring to this special time that highlights the first Christmas in a meaningful way. It will help clear cobwebs away from cultural Christmas and provide your guest with insight into why Christmas is truly beautiful.
