Northstar was established in 2003 and began as a little church with big dreams. Throughout the years, within the walls of the Blacksburg Middle School auditorium, through small groups in the community, mission trips and life-on-life, amazing things have happened. Hours of worship, many sermons, numerous baptisms, and countless amounts of laughter and friendships formed. Lives have been forever changed. We are humbled and so grateful.
We have made all kinds of places our temporary home, from BMS to Custom Catering to the Baptist Collegiate Ministry, and other churches. These are special days as we are so excited as we prepare to move into our own building in just four months!
The Immeasurably More campaign began its ambitious journey in October 2015 with the goal raising $6 million to move into our building debt-free. Since the start of it, we have been immensely blessed by all that God has provided and we have been blown away and are so grateful for our church body and other supporters. Without your faithfulness, giving, support, and prayers, the Immeasurably More campaign would never have been possible.
Thus far, we’ve raised over $3.4 million! That’s stunning! Our prayer and hope is to raise the rest ($3.5 million) before we move in! Please join us at Gracelife on November 8 at 5:00 p.m. for our Immeasurably More Sunday to hear about the updated progress we’ve made on the building and the fruitful days ahead.
