We have a great opportunity to support and serve our community and spe
cifically our incoming international students. If you have extra furniture, we
could use it! Baptist Collegiate Ministries (BCM) is now receiving furniture for the International Furniture Giveaway until Mid August. Your donations will help minister to new international students and scholars coming to Blacksburg. BCM will accept various types of furniture. Desks, tables, bookshelves, sofas and chairs are especially popular. Functioning lamps and microwaves are okay. The BCM cannot accept mattresses, sofa beds, kitchen items, wall hangings, linens, clothing, etc.
The BCM will be accepting furniture Monday-Friday (9-5). If you would like to donate furniture, please contact the BCM (540-552-5473 or bcmvt@vt.edu) to arrange drop-off or pick-up (if needed).
