At Northstar we have the incredible privilege to minister to college students from Virginia Tech, Radford and NRCC. As we continue to strive to Be the Church, helping college students know Jesus and be equipped to grow in their faith is an essential part of our church identity.

As we seek to constantly undertake the task of faithfully ministering to the college campuses around us there is a great need for leaders. We are looking for leaders that desire to embark on the adventure of leading Northstar in helping college students connect to Jesus and the mission o the Church.

If the idea of spending time with, having fun with, and ministering to college students excites you, we want to invite you to consider leadership. Leading with Connect (Northstar’s College ministry) has many opportunities for you to plug in and use your gifts. You could have the opportunity to do things such as:

  • Leading a college small group
  • Planning on-campus outreaches
  • Assisting students who desire to serve and get connected at Northstar
  • Discpling college students and sharing your faith on campus
  • Organizing carpools to help students make it worship services
  • Much More!
