Ah, the week after Thanksgiving. It’s the week after we’ve had our fill of delicious foods and been reminded of all the blessings in our lives for which we are so thankful. And how will an estimated 151 million Americans celebrate this special occasion? By stampeding all over one another in order to find the best deal on the latest gadgets and toys available for the holiday season.
But hold on, Northstar Family! The first weekend in December can also be an incredible opportunity to interact with holiday shoppers and help to remind everyone of the true meaning of the upcoming Christmas season!
On Saturday and Sunday, December 3 & 4, Northstar Church will have a table set up inside the New River Valley Mall. We will be there to hand out Christmas Tree Ornaments along with information about our December Nights services happening at nearby Ignite Bible College, located inside the old Main Street Baptist Church building.
This is a great opportunity for us to get to know our neighbors and invite them to hear the gospel this Christmas season and we need your help! Please consider signing up here for a shift to help greet folks at our table on either Saturday, December 3 or Sunday, December 4.
