Throughout the month of October, Northstar will be collecting food items to distribute between the Fieldstone Food pantry (Christiansburg) and the Dream Center of Pulaski. Donations can be brought to the Blacksburg High School each Sunday during each of the three services (8:30am, 10:00am, 11:30am) or dropped off at the Lancaster House throughout the week. This is a great opportunity to BE THE CHURCH and help some of our partnering organizations. Suggested food items include:
B-beans
E-elbow macaroni
T-toilet paper
H-hot/cold cereal
E-evaporated milk
C-crackers
H-healthy, prepackaged snacks
U-unprocessed dry fruits/vegetables
R-ramen noodles/rice
C-canned fruits/vegetables/soups
H-hamburger helper
