Over a year ago, Perspectives – a 15-week missions course – came to the New River Valley for the first time. The class united people of different denominations to learn more about world missions.
In the fall, the course is returning to the NRV, seeking to make an even greater impact. The course is designed to equip Christians with a broad understanding of world mission biblically, historically, culturally and strategically. The aim is to inform and inspire every day Christians to get involved in God’s story of redemption.
Jeff Graf, coordinator for the course, hopes to unite not just people of different denominations, but also of different ethnicities. Graf hopes that by unifying different people under one vision – spreading God’s fame among the nations – something powerful could happen.
