What does it look like to live a life that pleases God? What can we expect when God is pleased with us?
Before we launch our multi-year Acts series, we’ll enjoy two weeks – January 3 & 10 in a mini-series titled Pleasers of God & Pleasures of God. Many of us wonder if God is pleased with us and live in uncertainty, wondering how He could possibly even “like” us. The biblical reality is that God’s pleasure is completely available to those who please Him. You may be surprised by what the scriptures teach is the way to please God with your life.
“…for we walk by faith, not by sight… So whether we are at home or away, we make it our aim to please him. (2 Corinthians 5:7, 9)
These two weeks will refresh our hearts in the new year and restore our courage as we renew a commitment to live by faith and not by sight.
“Fear not, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. (Luke 12:32)
