Do you love bluegrass? Do you love Gospel music? On Saturday June 20th The Mountains of Music Event is coming to Jackson Park in Pulaski. This musical festival is part of a weeklong event hosted by The Crooked Road, Virginia’s heritage musical trail. This event is big—you don’t want to miss it. There will be close to 40 vendors and plenty of bluegrass and Gospel music, emphasizing the unique and vibrant style native to our region.
Northstar Pulaski is using this event as a way to serve and love the community. Volunteers from our Pulaski campus are going to set up and staff a changing station for parents and guardians of small children. Parents will be able to enjoy the event knowing there is a comfortable place to care for their children.
While this ministry opportunity may sound small it will play a large role in ensuring parents of little ones can relax, listen to the awesome music, and take care of their children as needed. It is an excellent way for the Northstar Family to show God’s love in a practical and meaningful way to the community. It is also a great way to get to know more people from Pulaski and The New River Valley.
