Hey, Northstar! I am so blessed to be your Youth Minister, and I am very thankful to be an influencer in so many of our youth and family’s lives. It is humbling to know that God uses me, just an ordinary guy from Ohio, to share His truths with the world.
As our youth ministry continues to grow spiritually and numerically, we are learning more and more about what God wants for our lives. We just finished up with the month of February, and I wanted to share some of the things that we learned as a group in my February in Review newsletter. I hope you’ll click over to see what our youth have been learning as they are growing.
In summary, you’ll see that our February events:
- Super Bowl Party, February 7 at the Beyers’ house (39 attended!)
- Winter Retreat, February 141-6 at Blue Ridge Christian Camp (19 from Blacksburg; 11 from Pulaski attended!)
In addition, during our Sunday night ReVerb meetings, we began a new series called How are Christians Different? Answering Cultural Questions from a Christian Worldview.
- February 21: “How could a good God allow pain and suffering?”
- February 28: The difference between Evangelical Christianity and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormons)
