In 2016 Northstar began a Safety Response Team (SRT) to help ensure that we can gather and focus on worshiping God rather than worrying about the “what ifs” that may happen. The SRT helps monitor the entrances, parking lot, and children’s ministry areas each Sunday and are trained how to respond to any incident including medical emergencies.
The goal for those overseeing the SRT is that team members only serve one time a month so that most of the time they can be participating in worship. To make that a reality we need every able bodied and willing person to attend a SRT training and complete a background check.
