As we have in years past, Northstar prioritizes having a presence at Blacksburg’s Steppin’ Out festival on August 2-3. It’s the largest local festival for our community, and it’s a great opportunity to meet and greet new friends in our community over a fun weekend!
We are partnering with New Life Church to bless and welcome the community over Steppin Out weekend.
This year we are doing things a bit differently. Due to some changes in the way the booths are organized, we will NOT be having our own booth. Instead (and greater!), we will be partnering with New Life Church and using the Reserve as our base of outreach. New Life uses their parking lot (right above the Reserve) for various fun games, cotton candy, popcorn and water and open their building for eating/restrooms, etc. We will be working with them AND keeping the Reserve open during the weekend!

- Sign up for a two-hour time slot at the booth, click here.
- Plan to drop by the Reserve/New Life locations during Steppin Out and just meet/greet/serve where needed!

Downtown Blacksburg merchants also hold their much-awaited final clearance sidewalk sales during Steppin’ Out. And those festival foods you love are provided by downtown restaurants.
Admission is free! Town of Blacksburg metered parking is all free, and Blacksburg Transit provides free shuttles to get you there without the hassles. Bring your friends! Bring your family!
