Are you crafty? Are you SEW awesome it can’t be contained? Are you on a first name basis with the sales people at Hobby Lobby?
On Saturday, June 16, the Northstar Care Team will host a Craft/Sew Day at the Northstar Ministry Center. This is going to be an incredible time of fellowship while taking the opportunity to focus on doing for others and loving one another as Christ loves us.
During our time together, we will make items for the Care Team to take on visits. Some of the activities that we are looking forward to are crafting, sewing, knitting, crocheting, painting, etc. Being made in God’s image, He created us to be creative! We want to encourage you to use those creative gifts to help and encourage others!
Regardless of your talents, there will be something for everyone to do. Our goal is to pray over the items we are crafting for those who will be receiving them. When someone in our church receives these items, they will know that they have been been prayed for specifically.

- Bibs
- Blankets
- Crayon Art Totes
- Heating Pads
- Hand Warmers
- Hats
- Chemo Port Pillows
- Mastectomy Chest Pillows
- Wheelchair Bags
- Coffee Cozies
- Bookmarks
- Tissue Pack Holders
- Notes with Scripture and Encouragement

We want this to be an opportunity for anyone to come and participate, whether you regularly attend Northstar Church or not. So be sure to invite your friends, family, and neighbors to come with you! If you have any sewing/crafting supplies that you would like to donate, you can bring them with you that morning, or drop them off at the Craft/Sew Day table in the lobby at church on Sunday.
Barbecue chicken sandwiches will be provided for lunch on the day of the event. You are welcome to bring sides or snacks to share!
