There’s a new ministry getting off the ground here at Northstar Church!
The Grand Connect is a meeting of mature believers living in the last trimester of life on earth. We are a fellowship of Christians, 50 and above, who support one another in ministry of love and good works as we fix our eyes on our Savior, Jesus Christ. Through personal testimonies, small group discussion, and prayer we will explore shared life experiences. We will help each other throw off the things that hinder our run to the finish line to meet Jesus at the Grand Connect!
Our Mission:
We meet to encourage, pray for, and challenge one another to listen to the Lord’s call, work in ministry without hesitation and boldly fulfill His purpose for our lives.
Our Vision:
The Grand Connect will explore scripture and engage in purposeful discussion about ways we can “throw off that which so easily ensnares and entangles us” (Hebrews 12:1).
Jesus Christ is our example, His obedience to God the Father and what our Savior endured on the cross guides us in how to finish our race (Hebrews 12:2).
We will focus on what is eternal as we support and pray for one another (Hebrews 3:13, 1 Thessalonians 5:11) to pick our crosses and follow him (Luke 9:23)!
Our Focus:
We all get into ruts, routines… we can become lazy and comfortable. There are times when we let the flesh direct our decisions and choices. The Grand Connect will serve as a spiritual wake up call for mature Christians to step out boldly in faith to run the race through faith and grace into eternal life.
If you are over 50 and young at heart with a passion for drawing people closer to a relationship with Jesus, you’re challenged to join the Grand Connect as they embark on this new adventure with this new ministry.
