Northstar Church is pleased to announce the hiring of Daniel Knollenberg as our Worship and Creative Arts minister.
Currently a student at Virginia Tech, he will graduate in May 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in English. Daniel was born and raised in Virginia Beach before becoming a student at Virginia Tech.
Daniel said, “Somewhere between the fourth and fifth time I switched my major, I felt the Lord calling me into ministry.” He grew up in the home of a Worship Minister and was profoundly influenced by his father’s leadership. He firmly believes that when the Gospel is presented, lives are changed.
Daniel’s favorite movie is Gladiator, and his favorite book is The Screwtape Letters. Being an avid video game player, Daniel lives by “The Three M’s”: Ministry, Music, and Madden NFL Football. Daniel is gifted and has a passion for leading people to God’s throne of grace through worship. He has previously served as a worship leader for Blacksburg’s New Life Christian Fellowship, vtONE and River Oak Church in Chesapeake, Virginia.
